The cost of keeping a boat afloat doesn't drop because you use it less. Berth, insurance and upkeep run the same in the months you don't go out. What you can change is what the boat does on its free days.
With an Oceanis 40.3 on one coast, the point is to sail another: you go to another owner's coast and they come to yours. Nobody pays charter fees, and the boat doesn't sit idle.
How it works
Sign up and list your boat.
Pick a boat and dates, and propose a swap.
If the other owner agrees, you swap.
No charter fees, no middleman.
Where the club really stands
It's new: 28 members and 3 boats. Join now and you're among the first.
Founding membership is free until 31 Dec 2026. A card is registered and nothing is charged before then; from 1 Jan 2027, €90 a year.
No insurance today. There is no policy in force and no signed agreement. Open: staying aboard at the dock, without sailing, or sailing with a professional skipper. Bareboat is closed.
It's for people who already own a boat: with no boat in the network there is nothing to swap.
