Classic boat: sail another without selling yours

You own a boat with years and history behind it. You don't want to sell it. You don't want it sitting idle either.

The Seafolk is a club of owners who swap boats for a few days. It isn't a charter, and no money passes from one owner to the other. Yours stays yours.

What changes

• You list your boat with its details, its year and its photos, and set the days you offer it. The club has no separate category for classics: every boat has its own listing.
• You accept or decline every request yourself.
• Knots are the club's internal credits. They can't be bought or sold: you earn them when someone stays aboard your boat and spend them when you sail someone else's.
• To request a swap you need your own boat listed, with dates.

What is open today

• Staying aboard at the dock, and sailing with a professional skipper.
• Taking another owner's boat out on your own, with nobody from the boat aboard (bareboat), is closed for now. Same for yours: nobody takes it out alone.

Where the club stands

It's new and small. There are still few boats, and it can't be promised that one will be free where you want to sail. Whoever joins now is among the first.

Joining

Founding place free until 31 Dec 2026: nothing is charged before then. From 1 Jan 2027, €90 a year for life. Founding places are capped at 1,000 boats.
